We recognize that one of the biggest struggles people face in pet ownership is financial burdens created by sudden or unexpected expenses, family emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances.

One of our goals is to provide the community with resources for assistance when these circumstances arise. Listed below are some resources available. We do not necessarily have a relationship with any of the resources listed below, and their ability to assist may change at any moment.

Colorado Specific Assistance

Denver Dumb Friends League Solutions Veterinary Hospital is a full-service hospital that provides preventative care, so animals are less likely to contract diseases that cause suffering, and care for injured and ill pets. They also provide surgical care, including dental procedures, for pets in need.

Planned Pethood International provides affordable dog and cat veterinary care, preventative care, dental care, orthopedic surgery, and emergency surgery to the Greater Denver Metro area, as well as the Front Range and Mountain Communities of Colorado.  They are located in Conifer. Planned Pethood also offers Saturday Vaccine Clinics with discounted vaccines.

Harley's Hope Foundation is located in Colorado Springs. They provide financial assistance with major/emergency/specialty veterinary care, financial assistance with behavioral training, short-term care for animals living with temporary incapacitated pet parents and other services.

General Pet Care Assistance

Red Rover Relief provides financial assistance grants and additional resources so pet owners and rescuers can care for animals who need urgent veterinary care. Red rover also provides assistance for victims of domestic violence and their pets.

The Pet Fund is a registered 501(c) 3 nonprofit association that provides financial assistance to owners of domestic animals who need veterinary care.
