From Brad Golden, Park County Emergency Manager:
I have been in the Emergency Response fields since 1991. I have been blessed to work with some truly exceptional people in my time and am always grateful to work with great people who truly care about their job and their community. Jo Keats has shown up to be one of these people.
Since Jo took over the role of the Park County PIO, I am continually impressed with her professionalism and drive for excellence. When she is called, she answers, when she is unsure, she asks questions, when faced with the constant criticisms that are so very common on social media, she always does her best to maintain her professionalism and bring answers to her community when they ask.
In a time when there is so much "unrest" and "attack" on Government agencies, and each other, its refreshing to have someone on our team who rises above the madness, stays focused on the tasks at hand, and provides answers and information to her community to help them feel safe and supported. Jo is a true asset to Park County and all our efforts to inform and provide safety to our residents.
Congratulations, Jo!
