-She's always going the extra mile for clients and co-workers, she cares for one and all! She's had to pick up a lot of slack around the Bailey office and we couldn't do it without her.

Barb brings genuine heart to everything she does. Her compassion for clients goes far beyond job expectations — she truly sees people, hears their stories, and advocates for them with unwavering dedication. In moments when clients feel overwhelmed, unheard, or hopeless, Barb is often the steady presence that reminds them they are not alone. The impact Barb has on the lives of the individuals and families we serve is profound and lasting.

What makes Barb especially deserving of this recognition is the way she shows up every day, even when the work is emotionally demanding. 

Barb carries her caseload with grace, resilience, and a deep sense of responsibility, while never losing her empathy. Her commitment to Park County Human Services and our community is not just professional — it is personal, and it shows in every interaction.

As a co-worker Barb is equally remarkable. She offers support without being asked, listens without judgment, and uplifts the team simply by being herself. Her kindness, humility, and willingness to help others has created a sense of trust and unity within our department that cannot be taught.
