There are currently 1,540 short-term rentals advertised across various platforms, of which only 25% are legal, licensed, and in compliance with county ordinance 20-03 issued in 2021.
The activity map is the latest in a series of county initiatives examining the concerns and impacts of STRs on the community. The existing ordinance is undergoing revision and is expected to be adopted by the Board of County Commissioners later this spring. County residents and property owners are encouraged to participate in the process.
