County Fairgrounds
The County Fairgrounds is home to the Park County Fair and it's located just south of the South Park Recreation Center at the corner of Bullet Rd and Bogue St in Fairplay, CO. The Fairgrounds consist of 2 arenas, a barn and a large building which is equipped with a kitchen. The facilities can be rented for classes, meetings and large events.
Vision for the Future
Back in 2020, the vision and upfront planning began for a new year-round community complex to replace the existing fairgrounds. Key stakeholders such as the Park County Fair Board in concert with County Commissioners, County Citizenry and CSU Extension staff began the planning effort.
