2. Autopsy reports may take anywhere from four weeks to 12 weeks, depending upon the nature of the case and any additional testing that may be performed. Please include the name of the decedent, the date of death, if known, and a phone number so we may contact you.

4. The autopsy report is a public record under the Colorado Public Records Act, 30-10-601. NEW: Per Colorado Revised Statute 30-10-606.7 autopsy reports for children (0-17) now have restrictions of release.
